Tours Policies and procedures
Welcome to Ecotourspuravida, your gateway to unforgettable nature trips across Costa Rica, Colombia, and Mexico. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, please take note of the following guidelines:
Valuables: For the safety of all participants, we kindly request that you refrain from bringing valuable items such as expensive watches, jewelry, passports, or large sums of money that may be susceptible to damage, breakage, or theft.
Voucher: Please bring a copy of your voucher on the day of the tour for identification purposes.
Space Limitations: As space on our boats is limited, we ask that you avoid bringing large items.
Special Requirements: If you are traveling with children under 10, individuals with disabilities, or individuals above 70 years old, please inform us in advance.
Footwear: Wear proper shoes for the boat tour, considering the sometimes slippery conditions. High heels are not allowed for safety reasons. Sandals, water shoes, or tennis shoes are recommended.
Sun Protection: Protect yourself from the elements by using biodegradable and coral-friendly sunscreen. A hat, UV-proof shirt, or light clothing is advised, especially during sun-exposed and rainy portions of our trips.
Payment and Cancellation: Full payment is required before departure. Cancellations made 48 hours before the tour are subject to a 50% refund. No refunds are issued for cancellations within 48 hours, but the balance can be transferred to other tours within the current year.
No-Shows and Late Arrivals: No-shows and late arrivals forfeit their payment. Refunds are not issued once the tour has commenced.
Group Tours: All tours are group tours unless specifically arranged as private. We reserve the right to add participants to group tours. Tour cancellations may occur due to unforeseen events, with full refunds provided.
Captain's Authority: For safety, only the captain can alter boating routes. In emergencies or special requests, the captain will decide on stops and durations.
Responsibility: Ecotourspuravida and collaborators are not liable for lost items or personal injuries during tours. Traveler’s insurance is recommended during visits to Central and South America.
We look forward to providing you with a memorable and safe nature adventure. Explore responsibly with Ecotourspuravida!
