The trail leading to Cerro Peñas Blancas is famously known as the "Path to Heaven." It presents a challenging yet exceptionally scenic journey through the forests of the Farallones de Cali National Natural Park. Widely embraced by hikers, trekkers, and mountain runners, this trail ascends to the summit of Cerro Peñas Blancas, standing proudly at approximately 2,900 meters above sea level. The vantage point offers breathtaking vistas of Cali and the well-known Alto del Buey.
The hike to Cerro Peñas Blancas spans about 4 hours to reach its summit, allowing, weather permitting, panoramic views of Alto del Buey to the right. Upon descent, a rejuvenating stop at the Pichindé River awaits, offering a refreshing break before heading home, with additional views of the majestic Farallones de Cali. The ascent commences through local farmers' fields, recreational zones, pastures, and cultivated lands. Slowly, the trail meanders into a captivating forest, ultimately leading to the summit—a white-hued rock with eastern walls providing a panoramic spectacle of Cali, the Farallones de Cali, and the entire Pichindé River basin.
This trail demands a high level of physical fitness, making it ideal for individuals who engage in regular exercise, necessitating both physical and mental resilience to conquer its challenges.

You’ll be hiking at elevations ranging from 6,417 to 9,671 feet (1,956 to 2,948 meters) above sea level, Dress appropriately for hiking in nature and rainy conditions.
You should be able to handle uneven terrain to go on this hike
The length of the tour depends on how long it takes to arrive at the summit.

Minimum participants :
Most of our group tours require a minimum of 3 people to run the tour. If we do not hit this minimum, we reserve the right to cancel the tour, in which case we will contact you to offer an alternative tour or send a refund.
Cancellation:
You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund. For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted. Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
