Join us for a coffee adventure just a couple of hours from Cali. Visit a beautiful plantation to learn about every step of the coffee-making process and taste freshly brewed coffee amidst stunning scenery.
Ecotourspuravida coffee tour is the perfect activity to learn about the different processes that are involved in planting, growing, and harvesting this delicious drink consumed by millions worldwide. We will explain you how coffee cherries are processed through pulping, fermenting, washing, and drying. You'll watch the roasting process and learn how different roasting levels affect the coffee's flavor.
You'll also taste and evaluate various coffee brews through cupping, comparing flavors and aromas. The tour provides insight into the history and cultural significance of coffee in the region, and you'll engage with local farmers and workers, hearing their stories and experiences. You'll discover eco-friendly and sustainable farming practices, have the opportunity to buy freshly roasted coffee beans directly from the source, and take in the beautiful landscapes and scenic views of the coffee-growing region.
After our coffee tour, we will enjoy a delicious Colombian lunch where our guests can savor local cuisine. Once we've recharged, we'll head to our second tour destination: exploring the San Antonio Forest. Here, you'll have the opportunity to observe some of the most amazing bird species in the area, including a large number of hummingbirds, both endemic and migratory. You will be able to see these beautiful birds up close, offering an incredible experience for those who want to truly connect with nature.

6:00 am: Departure from Cali
8:30-9:00 am: Arrival to our destination, we will have breakfast to recharge our energies.
9:00 am: We’ll start our coffee tour with a visit to local growers, where you’ll gain insight into the full coffee production process—from cultivating the beans to enjoying the final cup. Learn how farmers plant, harvest, and hand-pick ripe coffee cherries. The tour will also explore key stages like pulping, fermentation, and drying. Along the way, the group will have the opportunity to enjoy some birdwatching and stroll along scenic nature trails.
12:00 am: Lunch time, enjoy delicious local cuisine.
1:00-2:00 pm: We will visit a granero to learn how coffee beans are bought, sold, and roasted.
2:00 - 3:00 PM: The second activity of the day includes visiting various lookout points to admire the stunning landscape, exploring points of interest in the town, such as the local church, and enjoying a delicious cup of coffee.
3:00 pm: Conclusion of our tour, heading back to Cali
6:30 pm: Arrival to Cali (Approximately)

Minimum participants
Most of our group tours require a minimum of 3 people to run the tour. If we do not hit this minimum, we reserve the right to cancel the tour, in which case we will contact you to offer an alternative tour or send a refund.
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers
Cancellation
For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted. Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
