Tour Itinerary:

Departure point and drop-off from Bodeguita deck by the Clock Tower or Las Gaviotas Pier

From 7 am to 2 pm

Minimum group size 3 people

Maximum group size 10 people

  • Scenic 60-minute cruise passing Tierra Bomba Island and Spanish fortresses

  • Test of Snorkeling Equipment at La Avioneta Snorkeing site

  • 1st Program

    Module on Mangroves and Seagrass Bed areas, learn about their ecological role, biodiversity and habitat, carbon sequestration, threats and conservation followed by a snorkeling on one site.

  • 2nd Program

    Module on Corals, Learn about ecology on coral reef, coral biology and physiology, threats to coral reefs, coral bleaching, conservation and climate change, followed by snorkeling to see the 1st reef

  • Refreshment serve on the boat followed by second reef visit for fish and coral Identification

  • Deli-style lunch break made by locals, relax for short period of time

  • If weather allows it, we will go on a birdwatching experience around Pajarales Island.

Pick Up Time :

Your pickup time will come in a personalized email, not the automatic one from the booking platform. We figure out the best time based on where you're staying, like your hotel or Airbnb.

Drop Off Time :

Just so you know, drop-off times can change based on where your hotel or vacation rental is and how the group is moving along.

Minimum participants :

Most of our group tours require a minimum of 3 people to run the tour. If we do not hit this minimum, we reserve the right to cancel the tour, in which case we will contact you to offer an alternative tour or send a refund.

Cancellation:

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund. For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time. 

If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded. 

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted. Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time. 

This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
