Topacio Educational Center, located near Cali, Colombia, is a key facility for environmental education and conservation within the Farallones de Cali National Natural Park. Situated at an elevation of 1,676 meters, the center enjoys temperatures between 12°C and 28°C and is nourished by the La Chorrera and Los Indios streams.

Join us for a day tour to explore the center’s rich biodiversity. Discover over 150 bird species, including the emblematic Gallito de Roca, and spot wildlife such as sloths, howler monkeys, and a variety of snakes. Enjoy scenic hikes on the El Barranquero and La Naturaleza trails, which feature waterfalls up to 135 meters and offer excellent opportunities for birdwatching and observing diverse flora and fauna.

Duration: 7 Hours

Minimum group size: 3 people

7:00 am: Pick-up from your hotel or meeting point

8:00 am: Arrival at Topacio Environmental Center.

8:30 am - 9:00 am: Breakfast at the nature center.

9:00 -11:00 am Participants will enjoy a guided nature walk led by experienced naturalists, providing opportunities for birdwatching and observing the rich diversity of local flora and fauna while learning about the unique ecosystems and their vital role in conservation.

11:00 am -11:30 am Refuel with snacks, refreshments, and fresh fruits amidst the natural beauty.

11:30 am - 12:30 pm: Swim in the river surrounded by nature.

1:00 pm: Conclusion of our Tour

1:40 pm: Arrival to our ending point in Cali.

Minimum participants :

Most of our group tours require a minimum of 3 people to run the tour. If we do not hit this minimum, we reserve the right to cancel the tour, in which case we will contact you to offer an alternative tour or send a refund.

Cancellation:

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund. For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time. 

If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded. 

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted. Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time. 

This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
