Main Landmark
The Virgen de Yanaconas holds a special place in the heart of the people of the Valle del Cauca region in Colombia. Legend has it that centuries ago, indigenous people from the Yanaconas tribe revered a sacred image of the Virgin Mary found amidst the lush forests of the area. Over time, the site became a place of pilgrimage, with devotees trekking through the rugged terrain to pay homage to the revered Virgen de Yanaconas. Today, the hike to the Virgen de Yanaconas is not only a spiritual journey but also a breathtaking adventure, offering visitors the chance to connect with nature and experience the beauty of Colombia's wilderness.

The trail passes through a vibrant ecosystem filled with diverse plants and animals. Towering trees, colorful orchids, and delicate ferns cover the forest floor, creating a rich habitat.
